BBVA API Market
They are searching for 100 participants, mainly technological profiles, front and back-end developers, full stack, UX and UI designers; but also some complementary profiles from the world of marketing, communication and business to achieve multidisciplinary teams capable of facing challenges.
The objective will be to develop an innovative project over a whole day. The competitors will present it at the end of the day before the judges made up of panel of experts from BBVA, Amadeus and Ferrovial, who will evaluate those projects that have provided the best solution to the three challenges posed by these partners. In the case of BBVA API_Market, the challenge is to offer critical information that will help improve processes in airports, purchasing processes and services for travelers.
Prizes valued at 6,000 euros will be distributed among the winners: three of 1,500 euros for each of the challenges and another for the same amount for the overall winning team of the event, which may or may not coincide with the prizes for challenges. The event will take place in the same place as the South Summit, in La Nave (Madrid) in Villaverde.

South Summit 2018 is the most international to date, since it will have speakers from leading companies such as Amazon, Blablacar, NASA and VISA. In addition to this, South Summit will have the 100 best startups in the world, which will compete to win one of the sought-after awards.
Startup finalists from previous years such as Cabify, Typeform, Glovo and Spotahome have become benchmarks of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and have already managed to raise more than $1.7 billion.
South Summit will be held on October 3, 4 and 5, 2018 in Madrid (Spain). Last year, it hosted more than 450 internationally renowned speakers, more than 12,500 attendees, 6,700 entrepreneurs and 650 investors with an investment portfolio that exceeded $34 billion.
